Date: 2008-04-27 10:39 pm (UTC)Haha, yeah, I assume you mean Kids by SunMoonandSpoon? XD I actually adore that fic! She said that she wanted to pick the most cracky pairing she could think of and write a fic for it... and somehow it ended up being serious and plausible. lol
As for Light, yeah, I definitely think as Kira he will do what he can to get what he needs (and I'm not talking about sexual pleasure, since he never actually shows sexual interest in the show
aside from with L). What I like about L/Light.. okay, I could go on forever with that one, but their canon relationship revolves around trying to get into the other's head, trying to know them for the purposes of destroying them. I don't know if you've read the book Ender's Game but there's one part that sticks out to me, something Ender says about someone he killed. It was that, before he killed this character, he truly knew them, and when you truly know someone it's impossible not to love them. And I see the L/Light relationship as a twisted but still genuine love, but nothing that negates the fact that they want to destroy each other. Which of course makes in unique from the fact that they will both "seduce" others (Light probably taking that concept more literally than L) and manipulate them - but they can't manipulate each other.I adore Mikami. XD I read one jaw dropping Mikami/Light fic that just made me love the pairing (but of course, Light is still "using" Mikami). I want to write one someday soon, if I find inspiration for plotline.
