He doesn't mind steaks

Demons that form close together rarely stay together - solatary beasts all of them. He and Dimitri are something of an exception, to see each other as something other than competition. Partnerships are not unheard of, but the sort of long standing non-interference agreement is rarer.

Sebastian thinks it's worth it, but won't tell Dimitri that.

Demons tend to be agents of chaos almost by nature, but Sebastian likes order, likes rules, likes the way pain can be intscribed into routine and likes watching humans twist them selves into unnatural shapes for tradition.

But what he likes most of all is a soul that twists and bends but never ever breaks.

(Ciel is his favorite human, for a lot of reasons.)

(He's more fascinated by Ciel than he wants to admit.)

He's more attracted to Ciel's soul than is proper, more fascinaetd by this tiny soul than any self-respecting demon would be. He knows this, but he also knows that that tiny soul is bright and fascinating and worth it; like a moth to a flame or a cat to a shiny toy he can't help it.

He knows that he can handle it. (Dimitri thinks otherwise. Sebastian doesn't plan on telling him that he might be right.)

Cats are his favorite (cats and little children) because they are sneaky and soft and always, always see the truth.
