Ciel hasn't asked about his past. Snake doesn't plan to tell.

Snake suspects that Ciel lied to him, but is biding his time in any case. (Besides, he's lonely.)

He looks at Finny in complete bewilderment, because he's so bright and innocent and has already memorized all of the snakes' names. Because Finny *likes* him and he doesn't understand why.

Sebastian smells weird. Snake thinks he must be some kind of "freak" too, like Snake or one of the other circus people, but can't tell how.
