1. He needs a vacation. Badly. He knows his job is important, of course… But it would be nice if he didn’t have deal with certain messier aspects. Fucking cutbacks.
2. He still owns that polka dot tie. He does not intend to admit to this.
3. He also owns goldfish, named after Greek gods. (The first one was named Charon, and the theme stuck.) He keeps them in another room in his home, to keep visitors from messing with them. (Grell visited him once. He left the room for a moment, and then returned to discover a goldfish squirming and squirting blood in between Grell’s long nails. It was, ironically, Mars.)
