I like pro-wrestling.

I feel like this should be the start of some sort of addict's support group, except I'm not quite an addict. Still, may as well start this right.

Hello. I'm Splintered Star, and I watch pro-wrestling.

I know it's fake.

I know it uses women as wank-fodder at best, harpies at worst.

I know it often uses crossdressing and homosexuality as gags, and bad ones.

I know it is infantile, violent, stupid and is one of the most immature things on T.V.

However.

Sometimes, it's worth it.

Sometimes it manages to make me cry. Rick Flair, have fun in retirement. You deserve it, you crazy bastard.

Sometimes, I am awed with the athletics performed.

And sometimes, just sometimes, it does what it tries to do, and makes me fall out of my chair laughing.

Hey don't feel bad! I love wrestling too. *_* I've watched it since I was a baby, so I know my stuff! I can go toe-to-toe with the guys when it comes to trivia and stuff (especially since I love trivia <3)

And yes, sometimes wrestling is wacky, but yes, in the end, it is worth it. VERY worth it. <3

The thing is a lot of it is just stupid. I can't be the only person that wants to punch Vince in the face, can I? And there's showing off and stupid gags and gah.

I watch it for the crack. And just the crack.

True. It used to be much better a few years ago, though there is still some good stuff on there on occasion. And yes, many people have wanted/want to punch Vince. But that aside, he is a great businessman and elevated wrestling to a new level, all on his own.

And there is nothing wrong with watching wrestling for the crack, lol.

I've never seen wrestling in my life, but one of my closest girl friends totally loves it. :D I'm not sure if it would be my cup of tea, but I have my share of things I like despite all criticism. I know how it is, but if something makes you smile, there's no point in denying it. unless... like, infanticide or something makes you smile. D: I digress! Rock on!
