...today has been ick.

My mom went in for a partial knee replacement that turned into a totaly knee replacement, which means she'll be in the hospital for at least a few days. I have two group projects I am in no way prepared for. And today, I failed my driving test because I did something stupid.

Hope your mom will be okay, and fingers crossed for the projects. But as for the driving test, don't sweat it. I failed mine the first time over a stupid mistake (what is this 'no turn on red' sign you speak of?), and they still let me on the road today.

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear! *hugs tight* :( That's really rough. I hope everything goes smoothly for your mother. Don't stress too much about the driver's test - a lot of people fail at first. Though I passed, I still feel as though I never actually "really" learned to drive until after I had my license and I began to use a car more. I was so terrified of the streets at first. But I know you have excellent judgment, so I know the streets have nothing to fear from you.

Also, my apologies for not e-mailing you back right away, I've just been crunching a bit for some finals projects - but I hope we can really start soon!

Oh, trust me, I understand. I'm putting most things on hold until '09, because things are going to be insane until then. I don't mind, trust me.
