You have an amazing touch for families and relationships that I've always envied. Also, everything you write has this intense emotional clarity and detail; it's amazing and it's one of the reasons I enjoy almost everything I read of yours. Your stories tug on heart strings I didn't even know I had. Very few writers can write real emotion like you do, and even fewer fan writers. (Hint: I'm not one of them)

Plus, you honestly do sparkle sometimes, I think. (And not in a Sueish way like Twilight Vampires.) Listening to you talk sometimes cheers me up - especially when you're being all adorable and in love over your boy.

Besides. You like Mikami and write him all adorable. Enough said. *wink*

Talking with you is always so much fun and I love discussing characters with you. (Regardless of the fic that will eventually come out of it, the L/BB discussion we've started is downright fun.) You always amaze me with your plots - I'm still jealous of the time you worked two cliffhangers into one chapter of B&W. Your mind is so sharp and it's always interesting to see what comes out of it.

Plus, you are so passionate about what you care about and I can't help but admire that. Apathy is my default setting, and hearing you talk about the things you care about is almost a needed kick in the ass for me.

You're starkly intelligent and you complete my thoughts so well - as well as stopping me when I'm completely off track. You're a lot more funny and creative than you think you are. You're not afraid of my strange tangents or crack ideas (usually) and you're someone I can be dorky with. (As we discuss the natural history of the pokemon universe in the chat room...) You still talk to me despite my stupid internet and work and my shipping you with a fish. You're one of my betas and one of my dearest friends.
