I know we talked last night but I wanted to thank you. I love your headcanon, although it does sound contradictory to have headcanon about something you wrote… on the other hand, who better? (lol)
I’m absolutely wedded to the idea that Kaiba would never use a safe word because it feel like losing to him – or at any rate conceding the match – and also because a small, unexplored part of him would want to make his lover totally responsible for his physical and emotional safety, that trust more than anything else would be the turn on.
I also love the idea that some of the KaibaLand statues are his – and naturally there’d be nothing to indicate which ones, and it’s not something he’d publicize because it’d feel too private.
I love the Michael scenes – they really do fit into your story when you revise it. I can just see him hovering over a bug and then loving, if not the bug, at least its life force. It’s funny Michael and his wife are such a wonderful OTP, I’m sappily in love with the idea that even though he doesn’t remember anything else, he knows he loves her. It says something about Michael that he’s special even to Death. Hell, he makes me feel sorry for Death, losing his only friend - and not even fully realizing that what he feels is friendship and affection, which makes it sadder.
