Hi! I'm sorry I wasn't very clear -- I thought the Gozaburo one was ironic -- not because the narrator was being ironic op sarcastic -- but because the narrator was so obviously sincere and so totally clueless as to what was really going on. So it was sort of the fact that they were so sincere, and sort of offended on Gozaburo's behalf -- when we know better -- that made it ironic.
And yeah -- just how weird this must look to everyone else came across really well.
