Thank you! I'm glad this managed to work out, despite my expectations. And yeah, I think that sort of duality is important to Kaiba - he's not just rushing away From but also To something. And it's not like Kaiba is going to win the "self awareness" award any time soon, let's be honest.
He'd never be satisfied with offering just something autographed, I think. And with the idea that his soul goes into everything he makes... I wanted to have him committing his soul to this, even if he wasn't aware of it.
Yeah - and then deciding that he can't let that make a difference in his actions. That's not an excuse, like he says. He probably learned that while he can't make it better (he thinks) he CAN make it a whole lot worse.
