....Rooooyyyyy....

And why am I almost more worried about two of the bad guys than I am about the heroes? Seriously, there might be something wrong with my head with this series.

Also: Oh, Al.

I'm currently watching the dub from the beginning on Cartoon Network, and I love it! ^_^ I'm glad we'll have an active fandom to share again :)

Hmm, I know the feeling of rooting for the bad guy. It's the only way I've managed to sit through the now rightfully canceled As The World Turns these past few years, and the way the Soul Society in Bleach is set up doesn't make me feel that sorry when three of their own went traitor when they sentenced eight innocent people to death for some change in their bodies they had no control over(Long story).

I do have one quick question: The new Brotherhood series doesn't start all over at the beginning, does it? I heard that the original FMA took some deviations from the manga, but the new series follows the manga more closely, so I wasn't sure if they did a clean re-boot what happened with the five-season series of Yugioh, or if I can pick up where the last episode of the new series ends.

Thanks! :)

You're watching Brotherhood, right? Yeah, it's pretty awesome. And glee, indeed. I might throw my lonely, lonely otps at you. *sails a lonely fleet of ships*

Well, it's not so much that I'm rooting for the bad guy. I want the heroes to win and I want to see the side of good to carry the day. I just wish that didn't mean that evil characters that I'm fond of (admittedly for rather odd reasons) had to die. I know they will, but that doesn't mean I'm going to enjoy it.

The Brotherhood series does start over from the beginning of the story, and it is aimed at people who are familiar with the manga. Not only did the original FMA anime take deviations from the manga - like, say, half the plot and quite a bit of mechanics - there was all this filler and stuff. Brotherhood does not have any of the filler, and so far is following the manga very well.

You're welcome!

I'm following the original anime series that aired several years ago. I caught an episode one night, and thought "hmm, this is interesting." I haven't so much as peeked at the manga yet as I have a...certain other monster of a manga to keep up with ;) so I don't know what's filler or canon. I think I'm gonna have to start watching the Brotherhood series now, though. Once I'm fairly caught up, I'd love to take a look at your OTP's. Maybe I'll write for one of them --it's the least I can do after all your wonderful beta service in the past. ;)

Aw man...

Yeah. I know.

Randomly, did Khan bite you or something? Where've you been?

Yeah, Brotherhood is pretty good. It's on youtube subbed. I'm biased, though, because one of my favorite characters doesn't exist in the original anime at all (well...sort of.) another is in a vastly different form, and Kimbley, the third, has his characterization gutted. (They also give him a stupid hair cut. I am a fangirl, and I am Not Pleased. He's a loony but he's pretty, damn it.)

Awww, thank you! *warm and fuzzy* Several of my OTP's are kind of creepy and dysfunctional as hell, but that is unfortunately normal for me. *sigh*

How far are you, so far?

Oh, maaaaaan. It's been the busiest week of my life. I'm gonna make a post on this in the next few days, but I guess I can tell you now that I'm about to ship off to Navy boot camp in February. :) I won't be online too much in the next few weeks, so any fic is probably gonna be waay in the summer (Hopefully, Brotherhood may be on DVd by then, and I'll be able to actually watch it through....legal means ;) )

Oh, awesome! Please don't die in boot camp. *nod*

And yeah, fic whenever you want. I'm not demanding anything - especially if you're about to run off and join the military. I don't know if it's dubbed anywhere yet, but the subbed dvds might be out.
