Yeaaah. Pride/Wrath would be fucked up. Interesting, but gah the dysfunction. Which is, of course, a part of the appeal. But most things would be fluffy by comparison. Except for Pride/Kimbley, I suppose.
Ed and Kaiba...their brains work differently. And while Ed is very old for his age, he's not like Kaiba's is. And while Ed has been battered, he hasn't been twisted. And... Hmm. Ed's life has forced him to be a grown up kid. Kaiba's has forced him to be an adult. I think there's a difference there, and an important one. And besides - Kaiba is much more, ahem, physical. (And yes, Ling gets points.) Hmmz. We might have to discuss this sometime.
*nod* I'm the same way, mostly. Roy feels sorry for Ed. And, somewhere in Roy's mind, Ed will probably be that headstrong brat trying to look impressive. And that's not a place for romance to start, imo.
