Well, their respective fandoms will kill me either way… Hmm. Probably. Well. Kaiba/Jou, I think. Not because it offends me more or something – but it ‘s so assumed and that annoys me. Kaiba is always with Jou, and that’s just how it is.
I never really got into this pairing either. They're usually one/fourth of what some have dubbed the "Classic Foursome" of YGO fic (Aka Kaiba/Jou and Yuugi, Marik, and Bakura with their respective dark half) and fandom usually mangles their dynamic whether it's romantic or not by exaggerating Kaiba's supposed hatred of Jou when, in fact, it was usually Jou that was throwing the first punch at the guy. :/
