So. After waffling and figuring out who I need to talk to and oversleeping (repeatedly), I talked to Engineering today and got the signature I need to transfer into the program.
What I'm going to do is this: Engineering major with mechanical engineering focus, and a soc minor. I thought about double majoring for a bit, but really, it's not worth it. I don't want to have to take two different stats classes, and I'll be tacking enough extra on to my time here as it is.
The eight year old in my would really like to do aerospace design - planes! Space ships! Things with jet engines on them! - but there's no specific aerospace program here. But the chair said that mech might lead into that, as it is.
I need one more signature for the soc minor, and then the paperwork should get turned in tomorrow.
