edmondia tossed some at me!

It is a shiny series, with my drama and philosophy. And ambiguously gay boys, but who cares about that? *wink wink* It's my main fandom right now, as rarely as I finish fics for it. Working on them though. There's such depth to it, such fine tuned characters - and the themes resonate with me so strongly. It's not my favorite manga (FMA wins out, I fear) but it is definately up there.
Theater
Ah, theater. Stressful, aggrivating, and addicting. May or may not be my One True Job (seriously, becoming a stage manager is one of my dreams that will probably never be fulfilled.) It keeps me up late at night and all day practices suck, but it's still my favorite time of year. I will miss it at college, unless I can get involved there. Still, my last year was all right. and don't talk to me about the tree. seriously, don't. Most fun I have all year, even if it drives me batty.
Driving
I got my liscense just recently, and I emoed about it quite a bit. But now I am (mostly) confident on the road and have not crashedyet. It is nice, this whole "going somewhere alone" thing. I've taken to going to the park alone and curling up under a tree. (yay, tree!) Also not having to get a ride to work or such. Much fun. Innercity driving and interstate driving is still a bit much, but that's more boredom than anything else.
(Fellow) Hoosier
I live in Indiana. It is a pleasant enough place, with lots of corn, deer, and weather that makes no fucking sense whatsoever. Lol thirty degree temperature swings in two days, going from nice to ick with nary a stop inbetween. Still, it's a nice place. Lots of trees, and close enough to be able to laugh at the whole Cubs/Cards debate without actually being involved. (For me, at least. I moved from Il.) However, I live in the absolute middle of nowhere, and being an hour away from a decent bookstore stings, sometimes. I have no idea how long I will remain a Hoosier...I'd like to live in Colorado, but I doubt that would happen.
Meta
My brain does odd things. Taking Jello and turning it into Nixon. Throwing ideas at me as I'm falling asleep. Giving me the tendency to wander off into strange directions wondering, "But what does it Mean?" I tend to wander into Meta stuff, because it's fun and gives my brain space to run around. Er. Slime around, I suppose. *thinks, shakes head* I'll be the one in the corner, analyzing the theme of a story or looking at how the bits work together, and possibly giggling at cows somehow become involved. Good times.
