Random DN stuff...Plus an announcement!

L's death is hard to write, you know.

Even more so from the pov of a character I've never done before...who turns out to be kind of hard, in an of himself.

Soichiro is too normal for me to really know what to do with. It's a bit sad. The fic in question won't have many scenes in his pov, though, which will help. Though I do have the random desire to explore his character more... Now I just have to finish typing the first chapter and edit the *fuck* out of it.

I'm trying for plot twists in this thing... but since I know what's going on, it's hard to tell if they're effective or not. But that's what this place is is for, I suppose. Ya'll know what you're doing, generally.

Randomly: I like AU's. Quite a bit. And I am currently fighting off the urge to write one suggested by saint_archie. Basically, "If L had no successors, would the NPA alone be able to stop Kira?" I am intrieged. *nod* If anyone wants to try their hand at it, feel free to.
