*laughs* Yeah. I'm a strong believer in the philosophy of "Write whatever pairing you want, just do it well." And it helps that I come from the Yuugiou fandom, where everyone has been shipped with everyone else. (Trust me on this.)
Soichiro/Mello? What...god damnit this is why you don't let me near crack pairings. I want write that now. (I have an insane, insane weakness for crack pairings. I was reading a Light's Mom/L fic - you probably know the one - and the author said something about how it was the most impossible pairing in the fandom, and my first thought was, "Is that a challenge, madam?" )
Ditto for the Light pairings. I tend to think that Light will use anyone he can, in whatever way is most efficient - but the only one that he couldn't use was L. And that is why the only one he wants, is L. I like Mikami fics - there aren't enough of them, you know - but I really like Mikami. And having him get all fanboy over Light is...cute.
Na, babbling's fine. Goodness knows I do it enough. Besides, your babblings are always interesting. *smile*
And yes, go fandom. *will have to throw links at Arch next time she sees him*
