splinteredstarSo I realized that I never threw pictures of my dogs at you all. And with me being away for summer school, it's the perfect time to break out my folder of dog pictures!
I have two dogs.
Kitsune is a schipperke ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schipperke ). I assure you, the description is accurate. He also answers to Kit, Kizzu, Fuzzball, and on at least one occasion Hey You. He is my darling, even if he is very difficult to cuddle. It's not my fault he's just the right size to be a teddy bear. There are more photos of him, mostly because he is easier to photograph.
Face! He is a pile of fur, and produces far more of it than should be possible. Pretty sure he's a fractal.
Kitsune, in his patented "I'm adorable can I have that?" pose. Note the lifted paw, which he only breaks out for special occasions.
This, on the other hand, is "I'm adorable pet me?" I always oblige. 'cause seriously, that face.
Angelika is a....well, we know her mommy was a schnauzer. Past that there's no way to tell. Generally answers to either Angie or Anju. Very nervous, feels better in one of her defensible positions such as behind the exercise bike or behind mom's legs. (Mom is her human.) Fascinating fur, frankly, and it's a shame I've never gotten better photos of it. She will, when seeing a camera or even a phone held up like a camera, bolt. (No idea how she knows.)
This is the only pose in which I can photograph her, where she is pretending she is a rock and hoping no one will notice her. Or asleep. Any other photos tend to end up slightly tannish blurs. Still, her fur is amazing. She actually has a black stripe of longer fur down her spine, which goes into her tail.
And this is the only other way to photograph her - outside, and from a distance. She's such a beautiful dog though.
