I get to help. I've read the first book. Eragon was painful but this inspired RAGE. I had to shove the book underneath something and not look at it for a couple of weeks so I didn't hurt it.

I managed to read the whole book?! I didn't even make it to midway through the first chapter before feeling the need to kill something. I got to the lunchroom where they're describing the Cullens and I just couldn't go any further.

I don't know if the Notebook would work on a vampire, but I don't actually care. And the one I read involved Light leaving the Notebook on his desk in the middle of school, and Eddie picking it up.

Oh yes. It was epic. Better than the original novel, not that means much. I'll give you a hint - Eddie = HHH. And the vampires' "father" answers to Deadman. *grin* It wins, a lot.

I don't think Kaiba was in it. Pretty sure it was just the Yami/Hikari pairs. But my eyes glazed over with tears so I can't be sure. I'll probably look for it later, because I Am That Stupid. I'll toss it at y'all, later, if I find it.
