so i was wandering around my flashdrive

and found random things I forgot I wrote! Like this, which is still hilarious!

Watchmen/X-men: First Class.

Does not correspond to any known timeline, and flagrantly gives no fuck about any of them.

Rorschach doesn't really play nicely with others. Erik doesn't either. They are now in the same room.

pointless but for my own amusement )

Fangirl confession: Watchmen

Gather 'round, it's confession time. Because I spent too much time reading [livejournal.com profile] fandomsecrets

I know it's fangirl bait.

I know that very few authors would be able to make it work, and I'm not one of them.

I know it will never, ever happen without serious psychological restructuring on both ends, almost to the point of it being OOC.

I know that if it did happen it would probably be dysfunctional and angsty.

But damn it, I still want cute Rorschach/Daniel fic. And I think there's canon basis for it.

There may be something wrong with me.

And heaven help me, I just started looking for fanfiction.

I have aquired Watchmen

It is fantastic. Must reread. A lot. Also might start writing fic, but resisting. For now.

I'm not sure if I'm more interested in Rorschach's mind or his sentence structure.

I am the daughter of a linguist, and occasionally it shows.

Watchmen

I just got back from watching it.

It is epic.

And I'm pretty sure my head is imploding.

Sex scenes were a bit much, I think - I was thinking at the time, "Was that really necessary?"  But besides that, it's awesome.

I haven't read the book yet (I'm certainly going to now...) so I don't know how they compare. But I'm already in love. There is one fantasy more gripping than any other: Reality.

Also: My favorite character died. I really should not be as surprised at this as I am.
