It is ten forty in the morning. So far the day has consisted of: 

Me, waking up at seven thirty to tornado sirens.

The power going out, with my midterm yet unprinted, making me go, "FUCKING HELL I AM DOOMED." 

The power thankfully coming back on an hour later.

Me slipping on some water in my bathroom, making me tear my big toe up. It spent about a half hour bleeding copiously, and is now just bleeding pain in my foot every time I put pressure on it. I walk to class, which today is on the other side of campus. Right now it hurts to walk across my room.

I still have homework to do.

Today is a Carnival of misery.

This is so weird, I've had a ton of friends on my Flist talking about tornado warnings... o.o Sorry to hear about your bad slip! Ouch, that sucks. So does power going out... Hope you're taking care okay!

They're all over the midwest today, I think. That might be why. Or else your friends all have horrible luck.

Yeah, power came back on eventually and I was able to get my homework printed. But gah, that was terrifying for a bit.

Toe is no longer bleeding but it is swelling a bit, and is a cornucopia of pain when I put pressure on it. Next few days are going to be all kinds of fun.
