I think I have written myself into a corner. And my plot just rearranged itself retroactively in my head - and what I actually wrote down is not what I would need to have.

And to top things off, I'm a day behind because I've not only written myself into a corner, I've written (and generally worked) myself into exhaustion.

And I have an exam Monday. And a paper, two debates that I'm freaking out over just thinking about, a bibliography all on either Monday or Tuesday.

And I'm pmsing.

Sometimes it's not such a bad thing to have your plot rearrange tiself retroactively -- it's sort of like that chaos theory thing where entrophy forms a new equilibrium (or something...) What does this particular rearrangement consist of?

BTW are you planning on showing the story at any point?

Thank youz. *hugs* Two more days until break. Just two more.

Well, basically what happened was Saint_Archie (who is amazing) said something about the king and the prince and some of the succession details - basically pointing out that since Charles gave up the crown, there's probably a significant subset of people who are convinced he's the real king.

Which reminded me of an entire subplot that I was going to put in but *completely forgot* about. And I think it's important to have it there, but with the way the plot stands now there really isn't any place to work it in. I might be able to *shove* it in in one place, but it won't be quite pretty.

Of course, none of it is particularly pretty right now. I'll make it pretty later, after I make it work.

And my plan right now is to finish the story, edit it so it's more what I want it to be, then throw it at people who know what they're doing and get their opinion. And then edit it even more. Maybe then I'll post it.
