erik is a badass spy

He's fluent in German, English, French, Spanish, and Portugese. He's passable in Russian and various middle European languages.

He knows Yiddish but never uses it.

He hasn't celebrated anything since the war.

His power comes through his left hand because that's where the rage comes.

He never looked for Magda, after she left. She left him, and he respects that. (Later, he wishes he had.)

He never told Charles about her. (He wasn't sure he needed to.)

When Magda left, Erik could only think that it was a sign - he was never fit for a normal life after all.

He has passports from half a dozen countries, but holds citizenship nowhere.

He tried to join Mossaud when he made it to Israel. The recruiter had called him "boy" and gave him the card for immigration and said "you are too young to become a monster killing other monsters."

Erik had nodded stiffly and left, and five minutes later the recruiter's phone exploded.

Later, Mossaud occasionally traded information with him, as long as he hid the bodies.

People see his straight nose and his age and hear his accent and think he must be one of them, must have been a Nazi (he would have been too young, but they don't care) but the claim has long since lost its burn and rage.

Besides, it's useful.

He's killed for infomation, fucked women and men for it, faked nationalities and accents and allegiences - he carried an armband stolen from a dead bastard in his pocket once once, to get into a private meeting - he burned the armband and the building after. He feels no shame, because his idenity is pure regardless of what mask he wears, and he will do what works.

He has always been ready to die if he could take Schimdt down too.

charles is - Brilliant, ridiculous, beautiful and hopless. He's smart enough to understand but he *doesn't* because he's pampered and hopeful and Erik can't do what it would take to teach him.

Raven - Raven understands.

He doesn't love her, and she doesn't him. Not like that. She just wanted someone to *see* her.

He still has that bullet.

Erik died on that beach, and Magneto arose.
