Thank you! This is lovely! You’ve really caught that sense of deep bone weariness, the kind where you just want to stop and rest, but can’t. And I liked how you combined that with his guilt over creating weapons. He’s not stopping, and it’s not just because he knows what he’ll meet in his dreams, but because his own sleeplessness is the only thing he can offer. And I like that even though he believes he can do nothing but destroy, he’s still driven to create something beautiful, and something he believes in.

The writing itself is beautiful; I love the image of his expecting blood to seep from his keyboard, as well as the reference to Death-T – to giving in to his own darkness because he believes there’s nothing he can do to make a difference anyway.
