I definitely agree! And yes, I too know when characters like to talk to you when you don't want them too. I was TRYING to write an Ed-centric fic for the next prompt over at fma_fic_contest, but instead RIZA of all people took over! lol. Luckily I think it turned out pretty well; I ended up enjoying writing it as well.

Oh and I can kind of see why you would/could ship him with Pride; its the whole power and role-reversal thing; or at least, that's how I see it. =X
