Day 2 of the college experience...

Holy Shit I'm a college student.

Right.

Move-in went well, and thank you for your lovely encouragement. They made me feel all warm and fuzzy. *hugs* Roomies seem to be decent sorts, but I'm not sure yet. But I've only been around them for two days, and for one we all had parents around. (Love 'em, but they change situations.)  I keep realizing that I've brought too much of one thing and completely forgotten another. As I do. Still, I have enough to live, and the wifi works.

I watched people before a meeting. They still suck. Though the speaker had impressively bad highlights. Also spent lunch talking with one of the philosophy teachers. She had a shirt on that said, "I cut myself on Ocham's Razor." Good times. I managed a decent explaination of Schrondinger's Cat, too.

The campus if small. Fifteen or so minutes from the dorm to the center of campus. At my normal speed that's pretty awesome. Will have to time between classes.. There are a lot of trees and places to curl up under them. This makes me a happy, happy Star.

I'm feeling a lot better, now that I've moved. I'm still nervous (oh god social stuff) but better.

*hugs* First class is on Monday.

Suites. Two bedrooms with two people each and a common room. And I know I will, I just have to be careful with what that routine is.

Don't do my freshman year routine, which was:

Monday- drag to class...maybe
Tuesday- drag to class...maybe
Wednesday- drag to class...maybe and sometimes HEY IS THAT A PARTY?!
Thursday- HEY IS THAT A PARTY?!
Friday- HEY IS THAT A PARTY?!
Saturday- HEY IS THAT A PARTY?!
Sunday- hung over day of rest. oh shit I have homework to do.

Yeah, don't do that. I had to hustle every year after that and the entire summer before my senior year in order to get my overall GPA up to a 3.0 and graduate on time. >_<

Although my freshman year was like the best year of my life. I had so much fun! At the expense of my school work...

Yeah. that's what I'm worried about. I mean, parties are pretty miserable for me so there's not much worry of that...but I still don't want to be lazing about.
