FMA Predictions at 96
Well. Seven days until the next chapter of FMA and I am starting to go insane. So, to pass the time, I theorize. A lot. It's quite fun. I decided to write them down here, as a record if nothing else. And I needed to post something .
Theories time!
1. Pride's attempt to eat Kimbley will fuck him over. Kimbley will Not be Pleased with being absorbed, and fight back and/or try and take over. Either he will successfully stop Pride form eating him, or they will end up as some sort of fused creature ala Greedling except not nearly as cooperative.
1.a. KimPride will be the most fucking awesome thing ever.
2. The final sacrifice is not Roy or Marcoh. One possibility is that it is Scar's Brother (we didn't see the body, damn it.) who did Human Transmutaion (hereafter referred to as HT because it takes less time to type) because he thought his brother had died. That is the outside possibility.
3. The much more likely possibility is that the fifth sacrifice is Greedling. The important part is not having done HT, it is having seen beyond the Gate and obtained True Knowledge. Ling has, and Greed will keep him nearby on the Promised Day. (Wonder why Father gave a part of his soul to a complete stranger?) (credit to saint_archie)
4. All of the sacrifices will be in a human or mostly human body by the time they're supposed to be sacrifices. Father tried to do this with Hohenheim, with an unknown measure of success.
5. There is no fucking way Wrath is actually dead.
5.a. Wrath is on his way back to Central right now, possibly having fallen into the river and floating
5.b. When he gets to Central he's going to seriously fuck up everyone's plans.
5.c. I think he will run into Pride. If KimPride is in play, it will not be pretty
5.c.a. Pride verses Wrath would be so fucking amazing it would make people's eyes bleed.
6. Father's ultimate plan will involve sacrificing the entire country for use as a the passage fee to open the Gate, thereby gaining the most True Knowledge possible.
6.a. This may be simply for the sake of knowledge (he is an alchemist, after all) or, as I tend to suspect, to the end of overthrowing The Truth (also known as some variety of Glowy Bob) and becoming a "perfect" being - ergo, God.
7. The various sins are all representations of the parts of Father that he didn't want to acknowledge or deal with. With Envy I think this is mostly confirmed.
7.a. Though it has fun potential for Lust. But I am a fangirl
8. The Final Confrontation will take place in front of the Gate itself.
9. Father did not succeed in taking Hohenheim's stone, or at least not all of it. Hohenheim did something to his soul that prevents it.
9.a. It may be that Father cannot absorb Hohenheim's stone without taking back some of the emotions he has given up.
