Wow, cool! :D I like supernatural ghost-type fics. Though I think it's an important element in Death Note that when all humans die, they simply become Nothingness... in my Samhain Waltz fic, I tried to be ambiguous and let the reader decide if the "ghost" was really there, or if Light was simply imagining it. If he was really there, perhaps there was just something he wasn't ready to let go of, so his spirit was clutching on to the human world tooth and nail before it finally finished dissipating.
